Attorney Jennifer (Jenn) Meyer has been practicing law since 2004. Jenn was born and raised in Ohio and completed all of her education in Ohio. Upon graduation with her law degree, she hit the streets of Chicago where she first worked for the Illinois Attorney General in Consumer Protection. From there she began practicing for law firms in the area of insurance defense. In 2009 she moved back to Ohio to start her family. She has three sweet boys who fuel her passion for everything. Jenn worked for the Ohio Attorney General in Consumer Protection for over 5 years before her family moved to Naples, Florida.
It was in Naples where she found her passion for Family law. She served as a Guardian ad Litem for abused and neglected children for several years. Additionally. she served as the Pro Bono director for Collier County Legal Aid, where she connected people with low incomes that needed help in domestic relations with area attorneys who could handle their cases on a pro bono basis. She then began working for a solo practitioner in domestic relations. In this practice, she was taught the value of good legal work for people that cannot afford to pay exorbitant legal rates; parent’s that did not get to see their children, parents that could not afford to contest child support, simply because they could not afford a $10,000.00 retainer.
After relocating back to Ohio, she made it her mission to set up a practice that would help people with access to affordable legal assistance. Jenn is also a full-time prosecutor and only takes cases on first come first service basis. Jenn intends to become licensed as a Guardian ad Litem in Ohio as well; these services are coming soon.
Having a special needs child herself, Jenn understands the challenges parents face when advocating for their children. She knows the laws and will advocate for your child’s needs whether it involves needs at school or at work.
I have office space in a building right next to the famous Tony’s Italian restaurant. Office hours are scheduled by appointment ONLY. I am also free to meet evenings and weekends at any location that works for you. The point of my practice is to be flexible to meet your needs.
